ABANDONMENT of a Fictitious Business Name

Effective January 1, 2008, a Statement of Abandonment of Use of a Fictitious Business Name (FBN) must be filed when anyone, who filed a FBN statement in the previous five (5) years, ceases to transact business in this State. (Business & Professions Code Section 17922)
