Fictitious Business Names
Business & Professions Code Sections 17900-17930
Every person who regularly transacts business in Yolo County for profit, under a fictitious business name is required to file a Fictitious Business Name(hereafter referred to as FBN) Statement, no later than (40) days from business commencement. (There may be exceptions, please review the Business & Proffesions Codes)
Fictitious business names are filed with the clerk of the county where the principal place of business is located.
