Elections Office to Process and Count Vote-by-Mail Ballots This Friday, September 10, 2021

The Yolo County Elections Office will begin the processing and counting of vote by mail ballots for the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election this Friday, September 10, 2021, starting at 1:00 p.m.  The totaling and posting of election results will begin after 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

“The processing and counting of vote by mail ballots is open to the public and we welcome anyone who is interested in observing,” says Jesse Salinas, Yolo County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters. If you are interested in observing, please email [email protected]. Members of the public will be admitted as long as COVID-19 safety precautions are adhered to. Please note, face coverings are required regardless of vaccination status in all indoor public settings.
