REQUESTING COPIES WHEN DOCUMENT REFERENCE NUMBER IS UNKNOWN:
We are unable to provide searches in response to telephone requests.
- Provide a written request with approximate date of recording and names of parties involved in the documents.
- Enclose payment to cover the fees for copies. When page count is unknown, you may insert "not to exceed $20" or an amount that you think is appropriate. We will fill-in the amount and send you a receipt with the document requested.
In the ongoing effort to maintain costs and services, the Yolo County Clerk-Recorder asks that all document requests to be mailed to the customer include a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE). In lieu of the SASE the customer may elect to pay $1.00 for return postage which will be added to the document fee total.
