The Yolo County Elections Office began the canvass for the November 4, 2025, General Election on Thursday, November 6, 2025. The canvass takes place at the Yolo County Elections Office located at 625 Court Street, Suite B05, in Woodland. Members of the public are invited to observe.

Please be advised that signature cure statements are being mailed to Yolo County voters whose signature on the vote-by-mail envelope was challenged by the Yolo County Elections Office. Challenges occur when the envelope is missing a signature or the signature does not match a signature in the voter’s record. 

The Combined Signature Verification and Unsigned Identification Envelope Statement form is available here: https://elections.yolocounty.gov/cure-letters. This form must be returned to the Elections Office by Sunday, November 30, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. The form may be returned by email, mail, or fax. The form is available to submit online through the online application link on the same webpage.

The most recent unofficial results for the November 4, 2025, Statewide Special Election, were posted today, Friday, November 14, 2025, and are available here: https://elections.yolocounty.gov/current-election-returns. The estimated number of remaining ballots to be processed for the November 4, 2025, Stateside Special Election is available here: https://elections.yolocounty.gov/unprocessed-ballots. The following schedule for upcoming unofficial election results are as follows:

Due to the requirements outlined in Assembly Bill 3184 (signed into law on 9/22/2024) and Senate Bill 280 (signed into law 8/21/2025), counties cannot certify election results for the November 4, 2025, Statewide Special election before Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Voters who need to remedy a missing or mismatched signature on their vote-by-mail ballot envelope have until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025, to return their signature cure statement. If all signature issues are resolved before that deadline, the Yolo County Elections Office may certify the results earlier. Otherwise, certification will occur on or before December 2, 2025, as required by state law.
