Recording Fee Increase

Effective July 1, 2021, an additional $1.00 will be charged for the recordation of each applicable real property instrument First Page and Combined Documents (per title, 1st page). This additional fee by the County is for the payment of County costs for the implementation and participation in electronic recording under the Electronic Recording Delivery Act (ERDA). This additional fee was previously approved in the Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 20-90. View Memorandum of Important Notice - Recording Fee Increase here.

Please be advised that if your document to record is received by the Yolo County Clerk/Recorder after July 31, 2021 and the fees are not the correct amount, your document(s) will be returned to you unrecorded and you will need to resubmit with the correct fees.
